We’ve “Come Together” and $urpassed our Goal!

Great news, everyone!! On behalf of Victoria Findlay Wolfe, Quilters Dream Batting
and our fellow raffle prize sponsors, Aurifil and Juki, we say a great big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Hoops and Dreams ALS Raffle Quilt project!  Whether you were one of our many quilting friends who pieced blocks at QuiltCon 2015, or you purchased raffle tickets, or forwarded the details to others, we couldn’t have done it without you, having surpassed our fundraising goal of $5000, bringing in over $5500 in total. Together, our efforts will support families who are affected by ALS (aka, Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and will further research to find a cure.

And now for the fun part, we’re pleased to announce the prize winners!!  The Grand Prize winner of Victoria’s original quilt design, plus assorted quilting goodies (some shown above) is Susan Cavanaugh of Arlington, VA

Michele Maurice of Danvers, MA came away with the Deluxe Quilters Gift Basket #1, which included fabrics and threads (below left), and Julia McKagan of Mukwonago, WI was drawn as the winner of Deluxe Quilters Gift Basket #2, which also included bundles of Victoria’s fabrics from Studio 37 (below right).
