“Red & Green Quilts” Features Some Familiar Marcus Names!

Have you seen the new “Red & Green Quilts” book from Martingale? And if so, did you happen to notice that THREE of the featured designers are also Marcus fabric designers? We’re sew proud of Sheryl Johnson, Paula Barnes & Mary Ellen Robison, and Pam Buda! Check out their gorgeous quilts below….

Pam Buda-Vintage Patchwork Book

A BIG Congratulations to our own Pam Buda whose new book, Vintage Patchwork (Martingale) will be released on October 1!  The book includes twelve mini quilts designed by Pam, using just ONE 10″ x 10″ pack of precuts, and of course, the fabrics were also designed by Pam!

You’ll want to check out her blog post where you can pre-order a signed copy of the book PLUS a 10″ x 10″ bundle of Pam’s Prairie Basics & Shirtings  before September 15, and you’ll get a little extra gift from Pam!

Published by Martingale, its official release date is October 6 and of course, it’s full of projects just perfect for showcasing Paula Barnes’ gorgeous fabric prints!

New from Kansas City Star Books…

There’s something about seeing our fabrics in print that still excites us every time – it never gets old!  This time, Kansas City Star Quilts announces their upcoming book, Kindred Spirits, by Jill Shaulis and Vicki Olsen, which features LOTS of Marcus prints!  their quilt shop and pattern business, Yellow Creek Quilt Designs, is known for its warm 1800s reproduction prints and wool fabrics. Now they celebrate their love of classic quilts in this diverse collection of 13 projects, including bed-size quilts, wall hangings, table runners and a wool appliqué table mat. While paying homage to the past, sisters Jill and Vicki also put their own twist on tradition, in a variety of quilt designs.  As a leader in reproduction style prints, we’re happy to be a part of KC Star’s newest release, and we hope you’ll love their interpretations of our fabrics as much as we do!  Check out an excerpt here.
