  1. Thanks for the wonderful, unique blocks. The instructions have been great. At my LQS, Village Dry Goods, in Brigham City, Utah, we have having a sew-in each Monday after the block is posted. It is so much fun to get together with friends once a week and sew.

  2. Hi is it to late to subscribe to the sew along? just found out about it and got to reading that you had to visit the websites before August 1. Today is Aug 6 thanks!

    • Hi Terry – Thanks for your question! No, it’s not too late at all! We only suggested that everyone visit each blog and subscribe to their blog posts via email before August 1, so you wouldn’t miss anything, because each designer’s blog post would then come to you via email. You should find a SUBSCRIBE blank on each designer’s blog page. But you’re also welcome to visit each blog individually each week (one designer per week). Either way, you can then choose to PRINT the instructions each week and stitch at your own pace. One last reminder: Be sure to COMMENT on each weekly blog post to be entered into that designer’s weekly giveaway. They’ve got some great prizes lined up ; ) Enjoy!

  3. I have signed up for all the bloggers for this sew-along, except for the marcus fabric site. I cannot find a follow by email or subscribe anywhere on the site. Is it right in front of me?

  4. I think I signed up via email, but did not have to follow any subcription verification process that the other websites requested. I am just wondering if I am signed up for the Friends & Companions sew along.

    • Hi Barb – Thanks for your interest! All you need to do is subscribe to each designer’s blog, so you don’t miss any of the posts beginning August 1, and comment on the posts for your chance to win a prize! There is no formal sign up for the sew-along. If you are correctly signed up for the Marcus blog, for example, you would already be receiving an email anytime I post to our blog (at least twice today already). Also, be sure to order your fabrics from one of the designers offering it for purchase, unless you have the PAULA BARNES COMPANIONS onhand already ; ) — lisa

  5. I could not join via email to Homestead Hearth. I am trying to follow the sew-along. Can you check the website/blog to see if the subscribe function is working.

    • Hi Terri – Thanks for your note. There is no actual “sign-up” required, simply order the fabrics from one of the three designers offering it for sale (they’re marked in the post with an *), or gather the fabrics on your own, in time to begin with us on August 1. Then just follow along each week, from blog to blog, it’s easy!
