Trending: Folkloric Colors for 2015

Judging from this week’s color trend report from Plaid, the Folkloric influence is strong this season: “Encompassing the identity and aesthetic of many cultures, colors and textures, the folk art trend meets people at their roots.”

Any of these fabrics would work flawlessly as tablecloths, runners or placemats with coordinating painted platters or glassware.  Or try Plaid’s Folklore Garden Tray project and stitch up coordinating napkins… We know you’re passionate about your quilting, but how many of you also enjoy other creative pursuits like painting or beading where your favorite color palettes can crossover?

    Me gusta mezclar las telas lisas con las otras para contrastar aunque siempre digo que tengo que hacer un quilt solo de telas lisas.
