  19. How thoughtful for Marcus Fabrics to organize this fun adventure…not to mention the beautiful blocks designed and shared by all! The idea of learning about “Friends and Companions” gives this project a special twist as you read about what projects others are working on, what’s happening in other areas of the country and continue to connect with others through this invisible thread we call the internet.

Thank you for the free patterns and the beautiful basket of goodies for a lucky winner!

  20. I have not been able to start the blocks yet. I been sitting with a very sick granddaughter in PICU in Austin Texas for almost 4 weeks. I have been keeping up each week when the new block is posted . This is going to be lovely quilt. I really love civil war reproduction fabric! Can’t wait to get started making the blocks.

  22. Love to see the progress on this, and all the interesting color choices. I’m saving all the block instructions for a later date since I’m working on a project with a deadline right now (baby’s coming!). I’d love to be eligible for the prize package, though.

  23. These blocks have been fun to make. I am anxious to see the setting for them. Thanks for all of the hard work that goes into a sew-a-long.
