So I really love that the Country Crow Girls have combined the two in the quilts of their book! The designs are real winners so I’m happy to add another “must do” to my “To Do” list!

This type of applique seems more “accessible” and doable to me than needle-turn applique, and I think I could confidently tackle a small project. And the wools are just sumptuous – beautiful colors invite one to gather up an armful and create a family favorite for the wall or bedroom décor.

  31. I love love love working with felted wool. I go to second hand stores and buy wool sweaters and mens wool suits. Sometimes it breaks my heart to felt the sweater but when they come outta the dryer its love all over again. The mens suits I make into rugs. Would love to win the book. AND the fabric
