And so another Fall Quilt Market begins, with two outstanding Schoolhouse sessions! Victoria Findlay Wolfe opened the Marcus-sponsored sessions with a review of her unique quilts, including a sneak peek at the upcoming LIGHT WORK line:
Were you among the lucky recipients of a signed copy of Tributes and Treasures? The new book by Paula Barnes (seated right) and Mary Ellen Robison (seated left) has won rave reviews already, and we enjoyed hosting a book signing in their honor today at Booth 1022. Fans stopped by the entire time to meet and greet the new Martingale authors. ..I hope Mary Ellen got a cool pen for the occasion as I suggested ; )
Booth 1022 is well on its way, and she’s right, it will be gorgeous! I love our new pallet displays – the perfect combination of style, practicality and creative upcycling. Is it giving you ideas, too?
And can’t you just imagine Victoria Findlay Wolfe’s striking MOSTLY MANOR quilt in your own Manor? Last but not least, Indra takes a break from the #MarcusMarketMania, a well-deserved break, I’m sure…Drink your water, Indra!! Looking forward to the end results ; )
It’s actually getting a bit lonely here at Headquarters, as staffers flock to Houston for Quilt Market! Will you be there, too? If so, visit us in BOOTH 1022, and post pix of your favorite quilts / fabrics / designers to social media. You might be chosen to receive a FQ bundle of your faves! You can also visit our designers at Schoolhouse and in their booths, too:
